An intimate hands on workshop of 4–5 people, where we ask you to complete a few tasks ahead of our session so we can be sure to maximise our time together. 

 

By the end of the workshop you will have created the framework for a compact Instagram strategy and walk away with the foundation of your mini branding suite.

You will learn how to
 

  • How to set objectives on Instagram that align with your business goals

  • Create a user persona 

  • Define content pillars to support your brand (and brand story) and values

  • Map out content ideas and different content formats

  • Understanding the concept of hero, hub and hygiene content

  • Setting up a content calendar

  • Tips on organising and scheduling your content

  • Use of hashtags

  • How to translate your strategy & values into a relevant brand identity and visual output

  • Curate a strong brand mood board 

  • Understand the emotive relevance of an on point colour palette

  • Pick relevant typography

  • Define your tone of voice

  • Populate your content calendar with visually consistent imagery

  • Find the image treatment for you and not be swayed by visual trends

  • Set up basic brand guidelines as a continuous & cohesive reference

Julia is the founder of JDW, a marketing consultancy helping creative businesses and start ups to grow organically with strategic marketing and social media. 
She has over 12 years experience working in marketing for big corporates such as Westfield shopping centres and spent six years in-house at design studio Tom Dixon before starting her own business.
